Lexmark's new Lexmark X658 family of monochrome laser multifunction products (MFPs) offers the robust design and rapid output speeds of large copiers in a smaller, more efficient device that saves valuable office space and can lower the total cost of printing and boost productivity.

The Lexmark X658 family, part of the new Lexmark X650 Series of monochrome laser MFPs, is targeted squarely at the high-growth A4 letter-size (8.5 inch x 11 inch) office segment. Sales of A4 MFPs are growing quickly due to their many inherent advantages over A3 tabloid-capable (11 inch x 17 inch) devices in most office environments, such as:

The Lexmark X658 family also features Lexmark's award-winning e-Task color touch screen, which saves precious time and training effort. Complicated processes that involve multiple steps on competitive devices are reduced to the single touch of an icon on the e-Task touch screen. Additionally, Lexmark's Embedded Solutions Framework enables the MFPs to be customized with industry-specific and cross-industry solutions. Better Buys for Business, an independent reviewer of document imaging equipment, has awarded an Editor's Choice rating to Lexmark's C530, C532, C782 and C935 families of color laser printers.

The printers were recognized in Better Buys for Business' 2008 Color Laser and Business Inkjet Printer Guide. The cover of the guide featured Lexmark's C935hdn departmental color laser printer.

In its review, Better Buys for Business gave accolades to Lexmark's C530 and C532 series for their rapid speed and affordability, calling them "another Lexmark breakthrough in speed and price for color laser printing." PC World, a leading technology publication, has ranked Lexmark's E352dn in its list of top five monochrome laser printers based on the speed and features of the printer.

According to the PC World review on Dec. 28, 2007, the Lexmark E352dn "offers speed and features galore, plus expandability," and can "churn out good-quality text quickly."
